Area 6 has 2 Perpetual Shields which are awarded each year to the Hi-Points winner and runner-up. The shields have been generously sponsored by Allens Printers and Thea Lloyd. The shields are engraved each year with the winner's name. A medal, sponsored by Cwmnant Calves, is also presented as a momento to keep. The Hi-Points winner is calculated by totalling all points, across all events, awarded during the show season

Lisa Crowe lives near Tregaron, Wales. Lisa and Lopin Like a Leaguer (Kitty) won some big classes this year including Championship Showmanship at the WES National Show in August. Kitty, an American Quarter Horse mare was bred in the USA in 2002 and imported by the Crowe family in 2006. Lisa has been riding her since November 2008.

Helen Gough-Stinton lives in Worcestershire and has been riding western and a member of WES for 3 years. Helen has 7 horses, and competes in various English disciplines as well as western. We usually see Helen partnered with Baileys, a very tall 10 year old Appaloosa gelding.
